“Introducing the International Women Parliament, a powerful platform designed by women, of women, and for women worldwide.”
Introducing the International Women Parliament, a powerful platform designed by women, of women, and for women worldwide. Recognizing that women constitute half of the global population and their challenges are global challenges, Project 100 has instituted the IWP platform. This initiative brings together women leaders from across the world to engage in meaningful discussions about issues, challenges, and innovative solutions aligned with our mission.
The inaugural session of the International Women Parliament was organized on June 30, 2023, in Delhi, India. The Parliament witnessed the active participation of esteemed leaders from 33 countries and 18 embassies based in India, creating a diverse and vibrant gathering of voices. As we celebrate the International Day of Parliamentarism on this auspicious date annually, it serves as a poignant reminder of the founding of the InterParliamentary Union (IPU) in 1889, reinforcing the commitment to empowering women’s voices on a global stage.
