Event Design
The Summit is a event with a range of events including but not limited to Panel discussions, Key note addresses from climate thought leaders, group activities, book launch, demonstrations, pop-ups, short telling, video screenings, masterclasses, networking games, speed networking, informal group events, cultural performances etc.
The event is designed with 3 major focuses:
Knowledge: To ensure maximum learning for each participant coming from the global leaders and innovators in the climate action space.
Ideas: To become a learning space where each participants gets bombarded with great ideas which they can go back and work towards.
Network: Maximize spaces for collaboration and networking to ensure that the personal connects and relationships build during this summit remains and yields value to eachparticipant towards their climate work for years to come
As the world revives from the impact of the global health crisis – COVID-19, another challenge with far greater impact awaits humanity, the climate crisis. The sixth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report has concluded a code red warning for all humanity. Imagine a world where floods, drought, and wild fires happen on a regular basis, the air you breath is full of particles that damages your lungs, the food you eat comes from polluted soils, and rare infectious zoonotic diseases like COVID-19 is a regular. Would you want to live in a world like that? Range of stakeholders have shared their concerns about the environment with world leaders, yet we are still on a trajectory to 3.3 degrees in less than 80 years. module it’s part of, or the educators and publishers behind its creation. It can be formal or conversational – it’s up to you! This space is where you can expound on why this was created – by whom and for what purpose. You can include details like the knowledge gaps it aims to address.
Project 100 is missioned to close the gap, by empowering leaders to make real impact on an issue that concerns them, and the future generations to come. One of our flagship events, Global Changemakers Awards & Summit, is scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on January 24th, 2024. This year’s event will focus on three areas of Climate Action – Education, Innovation, and Leadership, to ensure maximum participation of individuals and stakeholders across different interests and areas of impact.
The Global Changemakers Award, initiated in Mumbai in 2021 and subsequently held in Nepal in 2022 and Dhaka in 2023, celebrates exceptional individuals who champion Social and Environmental Peace (SEP). This award is instituted in tribute of Mahatma Gandi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. Through a meticulous selection process, we identify passionate change-makers whose innovative initiatives drive positive transformations in their communities and beyond. During the award ceremony, these remarkable champions are honored by esteemed global and national dignitaries, inspiring them to further their invaluable work.
Beyond individual recognition, the Global Changemakers Award creates a profound ripple effect. As the stories of compassion and determination spread, they inspire others to follow in the footsteps of these remarkable awardees. By showcasing these extraordinary individuals, we cultivate a global network of like-minded changemakers, united in their commitment to building a brighter and more harmonious future.
